CAA Call to Action – October 5, 2015

Here’s the first edition of our volunteer newsletter. You’re subscribed to this list because you’ve volunteered with us in the past or have shown interest in volunteering with us.

We’ll be sending Compassionate Action for Animals’ Call to Action twice a month, and it will feature a list of what you can do to take action for animals, including opportunities to volunteer at upcoming events, easy ways to promote our work through social media, and ongoing volunteer positions that are currently available. The newsletter will also be a way for us to offer motivational tidbits, such as links to inspirational articles and volunteer testimonials.

It can be painful to think of how animals are treated in factory farms and slaughterhouses. You can channel your passion for animal liberation into being an effective advocate for the animals. Some activities require very little time and effort, while some demand more responsibility. We need volunteers on every part of the spectrum so that CAA can continue to thrive as a voice for animals in the Midwest.

Your participation is also a great way to connect with the community and feel the support that’s essential to stay on the path of compassionate living. We encourage you to refer to these emails whenever you’re wondering how you can get involved. And please let us know how we can make the newsletter better serve your needs. We welcome your feedback.

Best wishes,

Justin Leaf, Communications & Events Coordinator
