Thanks to all of you who helped us reach and exceed our year-end fundraising goals! We are very grateful for the support and will use these funds to help bring awareness to the plight of animals.
Looking to get inspired as you jump into the new year? Check out this video, in which Dr. Melanie Joy explains the common causes of burnout, frustration, and ineffective activism that impact many activists. She discusses how “unsustainable” activism is a serious obstacle to the success of the animal protection movement and a leading cause of depression and burnout. She also describes specific strategies that activists can take to improve their activism and their lives.
The new year brings new opportunities to put our compassionate convictions into action. Scroll down to learn about some of the ways that you can get involved in the weeks to come.
Best wishes,
Justin Leaf, Communications & Events Coordinator
