CAA Call to Action – December 29, 2015

Dear Volunteers,

Good news! We hit our year-end fundraising goal a couple days ago. Thank you so much if you’ve been helping to get the word out or if you’ve made a contribution.

Though we hit our goal, there’s still an opportunity for people to give through December 31. Of course, the more money we raise, the more that we can do to help the animals. Please continue to spread the word about the campaign in our final few days. Your friends and family can make a donation at http://www.exploreveg.org/donate.

January is a relatively quiet time of year for CAA, but if you’re looking for something to do for the animals, consider sharpening your skills as an animal advocate. One important skill to have is effective communication. Check out Unny’s 10 Tips for How to Have a Productive Online Discussion. It’s a must-read!

Also, have you seen our year-in-review slideshow video yet? Many of you are pictured on there. It’s really a testament how much good stuff we are doing at CAA and how our volunteers are making that happen. Thank you for all you’ve done for the animals in 2015!

Best wishes for a Happy New Year,

Justin Leaf, Communications & Events Coordinator
