Can you believe it? Twin Cities Veg Fest is less than six weeks away! If you haven’t already, fill out the volunteer sign-up form and let us know which of the remaining festival jobs look the most fun to you.
Volunteering for the festival is a great opportunity to advocate for animals and get to know others in our community all at the same time. The day of the event if filled with so much excitement; just ask any of last year’s volunteers–it feels so invigorating to be a part of the team pulling off this big festival.
And whether you can or can’t be there for the day of the event, please help us spread the word. Just last week, we encouraged people to invite their friends to the event on Facebook. We’ve reached over 1,600 invites, but why stop now? If you haven’t already, invite your friends using the invite tab on the Facebook event page. And remember: Twin Cities Veg Fest is not just for vegans and vegetarians. We estimate that at least a third of our attendees are omnivores, so be sure to invite your omnivore friends too!
Best wishes,
Justin Leaf, Communications & Events Coordinator
