Happy spring! We hope you’re enjoying the first few days of the spring season and feeling energized to take action for animals.
You can help make our upcoming Annual Banquet a success. This big fundraising event is happening April 9. Can you lend a hand with setup, cleanup, food prep, or something else? Check out the list of volunteer opportunities and then contact Unny if you’re interested in helping out.
Also, as the warmer weather approaches, we’ve got lots of opportunities for pay-per-view outreach coming up. You can sign up to help out at MayDay or Pride, and you can sharpen your skills for doing this kind of outreach at our next Volunteer Training Class in May.
Speaking of sharpening skills, a great way to do that would be to attend one of the upcoming national conferences, either Taking Action for Animals in June or the Animal Rights National Conference in July. CAA will have a table at the AR Conference, and you could help represent our thriving Twin Cities community and benefit from the many learning and networking opportunities available. Read more about last year’s conference to get inspired!
Best wishes, Justin Leaf, Communications & Events Coordinator
