It’s an exciting week for CAA. We have our big Summer Soirée happening tomorrow at Reverie Cafe + Bar. Tickets are almost gone, so get yours today if you plan to attend.
This benefit party for Twin Cities Veg Fest serves as a big kick-off for our festival fundraiser. We’ll need your help in the next month to get the word out about the Indiegogo campaign. I know that sometimes it’s uncomfortable to ask others to donate, but what you can do very easily is engage with social media posts about the fundraiser. Share, like, and comment! We can inspire enthusiasm in others by showing enthusiasm.
In other news, I’m going to be reflecting for months to come on what I explored at the Animals Rights National Conference a few weeks ago. One of the talks that really had a big impact on me was Dr. Melanie Joy’s “Sustainable Activism: How to Be More Effective and Fulfilled.” You can watch the entire presentation on YouTube. Go get inspired!
Best wishes,
Justin Leaf, Communications & Events Coordinator
