We’re hosting our 2017 Vegan Pancake Brunch Feed-In at the University Baptist Church on Saturday, May 13 from 11:00am to 1:00pm. Volunteer for the event and meet other animal-friendly folks. You’ll get to enjoy delicious pancakes, too!

Here are the volunteer roles that need to be filled:
Drive supplies (8:30 am to 10:30 am)
Using your own vehicle, pick up supplies from the office bring them to the venue. Then, go to a coffee shop and pick up coffee for the event.
1 volunteer needed
Setup (9:00 to 11:00am)
Prepare initial pancake batter, set out dishes, and set up CAA table.
1 volunteer needed
Pancake Cooks (10:30am – 12:30pm)
Make the pancakes for our guests to enjoy. We need two people to cook the pancakes and two people to prepare the batter. Speedy folks especially welcomed!
4 volunteers needed
Greeters (10:45am – 1:00pm)
This position requires two friendly and very outgoing individuals who can greet the guests as they enter and mingle throughout the event.
2 volunteers needed
Lead Buser (11:00am – 1:00pm)
This position requires one individual who can lead a team of three busers in monitoring and cleaning the tables efficiently.
1 volunteer needed
Busers (11:00am – 1:00pm)
The busers monitor the tables, managing maple syrup, margarine, water, and side dishes, and make sure that everything on the food table looks nice and is served promptly. The busers also clean tables after guests have finished. They also help wash dishes.
3 volunteers needed
Cleanup (from 12:30 to 2:00pm)
Four people are needed to assist with cleanup once the event ends. Tasks include washing dishes and packing up supplies.
4 volunteers needed
Photographer (from 11:00am to 1:00pm)
We need one enthusiastic photographer to capture the event festivities.
