Want to help farmed animals, make friends, develop your leadership skills, and eat great vegan food? Attend this volunteer orientation session to learn more about volunteer work with CAA!
We’re currently looking for folks to learn how to use our virtual reality equipment for outreach. This orientation will prepare you to conduct Virtual Reality outreach at Twin Cities Pride, in the community, and at Twin Cities Veg Fest. You’ll also learn about our other volunteer positions. You can view all of our open volunteer opportunities here.
During the meeting, you’ll get to meet other volunteers, eat snacks, learn more about our mission, get trained to use virtual reality, and think about what position(s) you’d most enjoy.
This training will:
- Enable you to become a stronger advocate for farmed animals
- Connect you to other members of the animal advocacy community
- Teach you to use virtual reality equipment
- Inform you about upcoming volunteering opportunities
Prior to attending the training, we recommend that you read CAA’s core values. It may also be helpful to review these frequently asked questions that you might encounter when doing outreach for CAA.
If there’s more you’d like to know, please email Abraham Rowe at [email protected]. We look forward to seeing you!
