Enjoy great food, drinks and fun while making a difference for animals at VEG OUT! CAA’s Casual Banquet on Sunday, March 20, from 2:30 to 5pm.
This year’s banquet will be held in person at La Doña Cervecería, 241 Fremont Avenue North, Minneapolis, MN 55405, and online via Zoom here.

In person attendees get La Doña’s black bean and sweet potato tacos topped with green apple, pico de gallo, scallions, cilantro and salsa verde; chips and guacamole; a half-pint S’mores cake from Rach Cakes; and a beer or non-alcoholic drink. Information on gluten-free options is below. To-go orders include all the food above and attendance at the online event; drinks can be ordered as an additional option.
Those who choose to participate virtually can pick up their food from the cervecería (brewery) between 1 and 2pm and then join us online at 2:30pm. Food delivery is available for an additional donation. Those who attend in person must show their vaccine card or proof of a negative Covid test within 72 hours of the event.
Our online auction, full of fabulous items, will be live here at exploreveg.org/auction between March 9 and March 20 at noon. Items will be ready for pick up at the in-person event or during food pickup from the brewery. A few select items may be available exclusively in-person.

The Menu
Food
Black bean and sweet potato tacos topped with green apple, pico de gallo, scallions, cilantro and salsa verde., chips and guacamole (all vegan, of course, and also gluten-free), and a half-pint S’mores cake from Rach Cakes (gluten free chocolate option available).
Drinks
La Doña Cervecería is a brewery with an amazing selection of beer. See their current menu here. They also offer Coke, Diet Coke and three different flavors of Jarrritos. Those who attend in person will be able to choose from the selections available. Those who order to-go can get a crowler of beer (750ml, the same amount as a bottle of wine) or one of the non-alcoholic drinks.
Entertainment
Inspiring speakers will share their experiences working with CAA to create a world where all animals, human and non-human, can thrive.
We’ll have a quiz related to our Veg Out theme. All can play for fun. Those who donate will compete to win a $100 Reverie Cafe + Bar gift card! In case of a tie, the person/team who entered the final question’s correct answer first will be the winner. You may have up to three people on a team.
