Join Twin Cities Veg Fest on September 3 at the Minnesota State Fair in the Creative Activities Building’s Cambria Kitchen for a full day of plant-based cooking demos and tastings.
Local favorites Coconut Whisk, Life Juices and Reverie Cafe +Bar, and will be presenting demos and sharing samples from 9:30 am to 6pm. Mistress Ginger, cabaret diva and cookbook author, will emcee, bringing her glamour and flair to the day.
All of these presenters will also be selling goods at Twin Cities Veg Fest on September 18 from 10am to 4pm at Harriet Island Park.
If you’ve never been to Twin Cities Veg Fest, the cooking demos at the fair are a chance to get a taste of what the festival is like. The vegan food festival is the largest of its kind in the Midwest and has a huge line-up of entertainment, speakers, and cooking demos, plus an array of product vendors, all celebrating compassionate living.
The local non-profit Compassionate Action for Animals (CAA) organizes the event. We also run the annual Twin Cities Vegan Chef Challenge, happening now through August 31. Diners sample vegan dishes at area restaurants and vote for their favorites, with the winner announced at Twin Cities Veg Fest.
If you already know and love Twin Cities Veg Fest, join us to celebrate a day of compassionate eating at the Minnesota State Fair! Volunteers are needed for this event and you can sign up here.
