"Doubles" (curried garbanzo beans between two pieces of fried bread and topped with homemade hot sauce and mango chutney)

Join us on Wednesday, February 18 at 6:00pm for a dine out at Marla’s Caribbean Cuisine, a small, very veg-friendly restaurant located at 3761 Bloomington Avenue in South Minneapolis.

The cuisine itself is based out of Trinidad and Tobago, but has a deep Indian influence. The island of Trinidad and Tobago is a melting pot of many cultures, and the food combines the flavors of these different cultures for a unique culinary experience.

They use the freshest ingredients and make everything to order. Their menu offers many vegan options, and Marla might even prepare a special vegan dessert just for us. As their website says, “come in, relax, and eat your belly full.”

We’d like to get an accurate head count for attendance as a courtesy to the restaurant. Please RSVP on the Facebook event page or email Justin Leaf at [email protected].

We hope you’ll join us for a fun evening of good company and delicious Caribbean cuisine.
