Cooking Class: Vegetable Irish Stew with Tamuno Imbu

Vegetable Irish stew is an amazing collaboration of potatoes, cabbage with a broth you can drink out the bowl for those cold spring nights. The flavor profile is magnificent in this marvelous meatless veganized version of Irish Stew.

In this class, you’ll get to experience the power of the  plant-based punch, better known as vegetable broth with spices.

This dish will have everyone lining up for seconds. Register today!

Class registration is $5.00 or free for students and people who are unemployed. The class will take place via Zoom and login instructions will be provided by email after registration.

You’ll need to pre-purchase or have on hand these ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp avocado oil
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 leek, chopped
  • 1 cup carrots, chopped
  • 3 cups portobello mushrooms, chopped
  • 2 small potatoes, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 3 cups cabbage, chopped
  • 3 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1/2 cup dry red wine
  • 4 cups low sodium vegetable broth
  • 2 tbsp coconut aminos
  • ½ tsp dry thyme
  • 2 bay leaves
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper
