Chicken Run Rescue provides temporary shelter and veterinary care for neglected, abused, and abandoned chickens and works to find adopters in the Twin Cities area. Join us as we tour the sanctuary, talk to the folks who keep it going, and get to know (and maybe hold!) some rescued chickens. It’s a great chance for adults and kids alike to experience these amazing animals.
Chicken Run Rescue is located in North Minneapolis; please RSVP to receive the street address. A carpool will leave from the CAA office (2100 1st Ave S, Minneapolis) at 11:30 and return by 1:30.
If there’s sufficient interest, a second tour will run from 1:00 to 2:00. The rain date is Sunday, August 10.
