3:00pm - 1:00pm
Location
Elm Creek Park Reserve, Rush Creek Group Camp
Hiking, swimming, mountain-biking, disc golf, vegan s’mores and other great eats. Lazing about and telling stories. You make the call. We’ve got the group campsite in the biggest park in the Three Rivers System reserved for two nights and three days of camping fun!
This is a multi-age, alcohol-free camping experience. Please bring snacks to share. Hammocks, camping chairs, and musical instruments are also welcomed! Invite your friends using the Facebook event page and look there for updates about weekend’s activities. Register by Tuesday, May 16.
Registration: Preregistration is required by Tuesday, May 16. This is a sliding scale event with a suggested donation of $20 per person to cover campsite, food, and materials.
Transportation: Laura Matanah will lead bikers (the pedaling kind) out on Friday morning, meeting up with drivers at the site around 3pm.
Volunteers: We’d love to have a few folks volunteer to make meals, lead activities, and haul equipment to the site. (Want to teach disc golf? Are you an amateur naturalist? Would you bring friendship bracelet-making materials for all?) CAA will reimburse you for any costs. We could also use extra tents, sleeping pads, and sleeping bags for those who don’t have them to share. Contact Laura at [email protected] if you’d like to help out.
