Join Compassionate Action for Animals at our Annual Banquet, celebrating 17 years of advocating for animals. Purchase your tickets today! This year, we will have gluten-free options.
Focusing on action, education, and outreach to inspire respect for animals, CAA touches hundreds of human lives and saves thousands of animal lives. Through the dedicated efforts of CAA volunteers, thousands of leaflets are distributed to increase awareness of the plight of factory farm animals, hundreds of individuals pledge to try vegetarianism, social gatherings are held to bring like-minded people together, and the annual Twin Cities Veg Fest inspires thousands to choose plant-based foods.
Note the new location at the Wellstone Center! We have also changed the format to make it easier to serve a marvelous meal: we are creating a new gourmet dinner with limited seating. Check-in opens at 5:30 pm. Dinner will start at 6 pm and end at 7:30 pm. Dinner will be followed by a larger and much more affordable reception, from 7:30 to 9:30 pm. You can buy tickets for the gourmet dinner and reception, or just for the reception. You can purchase your tickets now. We are also looking for volunteers!
This event is sponsored by The Herbivorous Butcher, and our gourmet dinner will feature some of their delicious meatless meats!
Your dinner ticket includes four complementary tickets for a glass of wine or beer, to be served during dinner or the reception. Reception-only attendees will receive two complementary tickets.
Update! Tickets for the gourmet dinner have already sold out, but there’s still room at the more affordable reception that starts at 7:30pm. It’s only $10 and includes dessert, drinks, a short presentation, and a silent auction.
