Dear Volunteers,
We hope you’re having a happy holiday season. Looking for some inspiration? Here’s a talk that activist Matt Ball gave at our conference Their Lives, Our Voices back in 2008. In this season of giving (and receiving!), it’s especially timely. Matt asks, “What can bring real and lasting happiness?”
The biggest thing that you can do for CAA this month is to help get the word out about our year-end fundraising campaign. We’re more than halfway to our goal. Please share content from our website or Facebook page and then encourage your friends and family to make a donation at http://www.exploreveg.org/donate.
If you’d like to share information about the fundraiser, here’s what you need to know: We are trying to raise $7,500 by midnight on December 31. Since all donations will be matched 2-for-1 by an anonymous donor, this is an excellent time to give. Everyone can triple their impact to help animals!
If we reach our goal at least a few days before the 31st, we’ll have a stretch goal of an additional amount. For that reason, it’s especially important to get the word out now; encourage friends and family to support the fundraiser sooner rather than later.
I hope to see you at the December Potluck: A Holiday Party on Sunday!
Best wishes,
Justin Leaf, Communications & Events Coordinator
