That’s right! August is bursting with opportunities to get active for animals. Whether it be volunteer outreach or social events, all of these activities serve to strengthen and grow our animal-friendly community.
If it’s fun you’re looking for, we’ve got you covered. Try an eye-opening and heartwarming tour of Chicken Run Rescue in North Minneapolis on Saturday, August 9th, or a nature-bound camping trip to Wild River State Park, Friday, August 8th through Sunday, August 10th.
For social butterflies and die-hard foodies, we’re hosting a dine out at Seward Cafe on Wednesday, August 13th and a backyard barbeque potluck at the home of Suzy Sorenson in St. Paul on Friday, August 22nd.
And there’s no want of opportunities to share a message of compassion for all. Consider joining the leafleting team at the Paul McCartney concert on Saturday, August 2nd or Franklin Open Streets on Sunday, August 17th. And if you don’t have the time to take part in these events, consider joining the Lit Distribution Team. It’s an easy way to get active for the animals.
We hope to see you at some of these lively August events, where you can enjoy the great summer weather while being a vital part of the movement that strives for justice for those who don’t have a voice.
For the Animals,
