Get to know Taylor Borgman, CAA Volunteer

May 26, 2023

Taylor was searching for animal advocacy groups in Minnesota in 2015. Researching online, she discovered the Twin Cities Veg Fest and CAA.  Since then, she has attended CAA events and volunteered at several, including:

  • CAA student group events at the University of MN
  • Twin Cities Veg Fest
  • The Vegan ThanksLiving Potluck
  • The Vegan Chili Cook-off
  • And currently, the Twin Cities Vegan Chef Challenge

She loves how friendly and welcoming the CAA community is. Taylor also appreciates the shared passion for ending animal abuse and the slaughter of farmed animals. Attending local events makes it easy for her to connect with others and continue being a voice for animals.

Volunteering with CAA encourages Taylor to continue her fight for animal welfare and  invite others to join her. Her experiences with the CAA community demonstrate what a difference we can all make in the lives of animals. In her words, “They are our most innocent creatures who are unable to speak for themselves.”

Taylor loves spending time outdoors. She hikes, camps, bikes, and goes for long walks with her dog Myla. She also enjoys trying new vegan foods and recipes. Her favorite dishes include coconut chickpea curry, cowboy caviar, and chipotle black bean burgers!
